Mt. Fremont MRNP 7/29/2010

A group of friends and I headed out to the Mt. Fremont lookout in the Mount Rainier National Park. We didn't get to the trail-head until 5pm, and headed up the trail. It's amazing how quiet Sunrise is in the evening, the only people we saw were headed out and by half way to Frozen Lake we had the trail to ourselves for the rest of the evening.

Back in Sunrise meadows as the sun is setting.


We got off the trail just before dusk and enjoyed the first part of the sunset before heading down the hill. Shortly past the White River camp we had to brake hard for the little black bear crossing the road in the night...
